EstiMate is made by Dave Groom, a tradesman who became a contracts manager and then founded Tatton Projects, a design-and-build company in Cheshire. The app started as the spreadsheet his own firm priced from, and grew into the system that runs its quotes, contracts, sites, invoices and accounts. Every feature exists because a real job needed it.
It is a separate product from other estimating tools with similar names: EstiMate lives at esti-mate.app, is UK-first (VAT, CIS, JCT/NEC valuations, UK trade rates) and is priced for sole traders as much as for main contractors.
