AnswerPilot by EstiMate
The AI answering service for companies that can’t always get to the phone.
Your own number, answered in a natural British voice. It takes the caller’s details, books the appointment or site visit into your diary and texts you the lead before they’ve hung up. Missed-call text-back included.
150 call minutes a month included. Texts free. Cancel any time.
A missed call is a customer someone else gets
Someone who needs you rings three companies. The one who answers gets the booking. You can’t answer from a roof, a treatment room or a viewing, and voicemail is where enquiries go to die.
Get your number
One press. A UK number, answered from that moment.
Tell it about you
What kind of business, what you do, your hours, what a booking is called, the things callers ask. Two minutes.
Divert your phone
Dial the code once. Missed calls go to the receptionist, not voicemail.
Get the leads
Texts, emails and bookings while you're busy with the customers you already have.
Built for trades. Works for any company.
Tell it what kind of business you are and what a booking is called, and it asks the questions that business would ask.
Builders and trades
Takes the job and the address, books the site visit, starts the quote in EstiMate.
Plumbers, electricians, roofers
Sorts the emergency from the enquiry, takes the postcode, books the visit or the call back.
Garages and MOT centres
Make, model, what's wrong, books the drop-off slot.
Dentists, clinics and salons
Takes the request, books the appointment, answers the questions you've written down.
Lettings and estate agents
Which property, when they can view, books the viewing.
Cleaners, gardeners, removals
Where, how big, when, books the survey or quote visit.
Accountants and solicitors
What it's about, takes the details, books the consultation or arranges the call back.
Any company with a phone
If you can't always answer it, this answers it the way you would.
What it does on every call
Answers like a person
A natural British voice that greets callers by your firm's name, listens, and asks the next sensible question. No menus, no robot voice.
Takes the whole lead
Name, what they need, the address or postcode read back to check, when they want it, and the best number. A rough budget if they offer one.
Books the appointment
Call it a site visit, an appointment, a viewing or a consultation. It offers the next free slots on the days and times you choose, and an agreed slot lands in your Calendar before the caller hangs up.
Texts you the lot
A text to your phone and an email with the summary, the details, the recording and a Call back button. In the app, the caller is already a Customer, and for trades there's a Start a quote button.
Missed-call text-back
Caller hung up before speaking? They get a text within seconds asking what they need and where. The reply comes back to the same receptionist.
Put me through
During your hours a caller who asks for a person can be put straight through to your mobile. Outside them, the receptionist takes the details and you call back.
Recorded and written up
Every call recorded and transcribed, with callers told at the start. Listen back from the lead, or read the conversation as text.
Works with the phone you have
Keep your number. Dial one code on your mobile or office line and the calls you don't answer go to the receptionist instead of voicemail. Or put the new number on your website and adverts.
Never makes it up
It only says what you've told it. Prices come from your notes or not at all, it won't promise a date or invent a service, and anything it doesn't know it leaves for your call back.
What a call sounds like
Illustration of a typical call to a building firm. Names and details are made up. For a clinic it books an appointment; for an agent, a viewing.
Questions builders ask
Is it only for builders?
No. EstiMate is built for trades, so it started there, but the receptionist works for any company that can't always get to the phone: plumbers, electricians, roofers, garages, dentists, salons, lettings agents, cleaners, accountants, solicitors. You tell it what kind of business you are, what you do and what a booking is called, and it asks the right questions.
Does it sound like a robot?
No. It uses a natural neural British voice, Amy, Emma, Brian or Arthur, and talks in short, normal sentences. Press Call me now in the app and judge for yourself before you divert a single call.
Can it answer the questions my customers always ask?
Yes. There is a notes box for the things callers ask and what to say: opening hours quirks, whether you do emergencies, parking, what to bring. Tick a box and it may also give the prices you've written there, word for word, and nothing else.
Do I need a new phone or number?
No. Keep your number and your phone. Dialling **61*<your AnswerPilot number># once on your mobile sends only the calls you don't answer to the receptionist. You can switch it off with ##61#.
What does it do with the lead?
The caller becomes a Customer, the booking goes in your Calendar if one was agreed, and you get a text, an email and a notification with the summary, the details and the recording. Trades get a one-button Start a quote.
What if someone asks to speak to me?
During your hours it can put them straight through to your mobile. If you don't pick up, it apologises, keeps the details and you call back. Outside your hours it takes the details.
What counts as a minute?
Time the receptionist spends on a call. 150 minutes a month are included on the add-on and standalone plans, 300 on Commercial and Corporate, and texts are free. Extra blocks are a few pounds when you need them.
Do I need EstiMate?
No. AnswerPilot runs on its own for any company: create a free account, start AnswerPilot and ignore the rest of the app if you don't need it. EstiMate Pro members get it at a reduced rate, and Commercial and Corporate plans include it.
Hear it before you trust it with a single call
