Tradify pricing in the UK: what a team really pays in 2026

Tradify's UK pricing page lists three plans: Lite at £34, Pro at £37 and Plus at £44, each per user per month (Tradify UK pricing). There's a 14-day free trial and we couldn't find a free plan. So one person on Pro pays £37 a month, and a team of five pays £185.

That's the headline. What you actually pay depends on how many people need a login, which plan has the features you need, and the extras: texts, card fees and, if you work under CIS, the accounting software Tradify leans on. Below are the sums for 1, 3, 5 and 10 people, then the same teams on EstiMate, which charges per business.

Tradify's own blog post dated 24 September 2026 gives the same £34 and £37 figures (Tradify blog). Some review sites still show an older structure with a cheaper per-user rate for bigger teams, so go by the live pricing page.

What each plan gets you

  • Lite, £34 per user a month. The entry plan. Tradify's pricing page lists "Quote Options & Online Acceptance" on Pro and Plus only, so going by that page, Lite doesn't include online acceptance or quote options.
  • Pro, £37 per user a month. Adds quote options and online acceptance. The customer opens your link, ticks the optional sections, watches the subtotal change and clicks Accept (Tradify help).
  • Plus, £44 per user a month. Tradify says Plus "includes full access to all Tradify features" (pricing FAQ).

The Instant Website add-on is on every plan, but its enquiry form needs Pro or Plus (same FAQ). For most builders, online acceptance is the feature that matters, which makes Pro the realistic starting point.

What a team pays on Tradify

TeamLiteProPlus
1 person£34£37£44
3 people£102£111£132
5 people£170£185£220
10 people£340£370£440

Prices checked October 2026 on Tradify's UK pricing page. Each figure is the number of users × the per-user price, per month. Over a year, multiply by 12: five people on Pro pay 5 × £37 × 12 = £2,220, and ten people on Plus pay 10 × £44 × 12 = £5,280.

We couldn't confirm on Tradify's pricing page whether these figures include VAT, so ask before you sign up. EstiMate's pricing page says the price shown is what you pay, with a VAT receipt for every payment. The comparisons below use each company's list price as published; if you're VAT-registered, you reclaim the VAT on either.

Tradify's help centre says it's generally billed monthly, with annual options available (what Tradify costs). We couldn't confirm the annual discount. Billing is pro-rata and in arrears, by Visa or Mastercard only, with no Amex and no bank transfer (billing terms).

The extras on top of the subscription

  • Texts. 10p per SMS (text messages). Send 150 appointment reminders and quote follow-ups a month and that's 150 × 10p = £15.
  • Card payments. 1.7% + 20p on standard cards, 2.1% + 20p on premium cards and 3.45% + 20p on Amex, VAT inclusive (transaction fees). A client paying a £5,000 stage payment on a standard card costs you 1.7% × £5,000 + 20p = £85.20.
  • Accounting software for CIS and reverse charge. Tradify's help centre says it "does not have any native Reverse VAT / CIS tax options", and that you can't create a CIS invoice unless you're connected to Xero or Sage Business Cloud (Tradify help). If you invoice main contractors under CIS, add a Xero or Sage subscription to the sum. Check their current prices.

The same teams on a per-business price

EstiMate's prices don't move with headcount. Free is £0, EstiMate is £15.99 a month and EstiMate Pro is £39.99 a month, per business, with no contract (EstiMate pricing). The £15.99 plan already includes a quote link the client can accept, decline, pick optional extras from or ask to amend, plus contracts with e-signature, variations, invoices with card payments through Stripe (paid into your own Stripe account, so Stripe's card fees apply there too), and the Accounts tab with P&L, VAT figures and a CIS register.

To be straight about what "per business" means: Free, EstiMate and Pro are one business account, not a set of staff logins. On Pro, your site team get each job by QR code or link through the Site Crew app and log time, expenses, photos and diary entries without a full account. Separate team seats with roles are on EstiMate Corp, from £249 a month. So the fair comparison looks like this:

Your set-upTradify ProEstiMate
Sole trader£37£15.99, or £39.99 on Pro
You plus 2 on site£111£39.99 (Pro, Site Crew)
You plus 4 on site£185£39.99 (Pro, Site Crew)
10 people, several office logins£370From £249 (Corp)

The Tradify column assumes everyone has a Tradify user so they can log their hours. For a firm of you plus two on site, that's £1,332 a year on Tradify Pro against £479.88 on EstiMate Pro: £852.12 a year apart. At ten people with several office logins, it's £4,440 a year against £2,988 at Corp's starting price of £249 a month, a difference of up to £1,452.

The honest flip side. If five people all need full office logins with their own permissions, Tradify Lite at £170 or Pro at £185 a month is cheaper than EstiMate Corp at £249. Per-business pricing wins when most of your team works on site, which is how a lot of small building firms are set up. Our post on per-user pricing as your team grows runs the same sums across other trade apps.

Who Tradify's pricing suits

For a sole trader, £34 to £44 a month is a fair price for a well-reviewed app: Tradify scores 4.7 out of 5 from 152 reviews on Capterra. The same reviews flag the catch, though. A recurring complaint on Capterra is that per-user pricing "can get expensive for a small business with 10+ employees/subcontractors" (Capterra reviews). The table above shows why: the bill grows by £37 for every person you add on Pro.

If you're a builder rather than a service trade, the subscription isn't the only number. You may also be paying for an accounting app to handle CIS, and we couldn't find a contract builder or a variations feature on Tradify's website (October 2026), so check how you'd handle those. Our EstiMate vs Tradify comparison covers the feature side.

What to do next

  1. Count the people who really need a full login, and the ones who only need to log hours and photos.
  2. Decide whether you need online quote acceptance. If yes, price Tradify on Pro, not Lite.
  3. Ask Tradify whether VAT is added, then add your monthly texts and any Xero or Sage subscription you need for CIS.
  4. Compare that total with £15.99 or £39.99 a month on EstiMate. For a wider view, see our best Tradify alternatives.
