EstiMate now has a Manchester home

EstiMate has always been a Manchester and Cheshire story. It was built by a builder who was tired of being the software, tested on real jobs across Greater Manchester, and priced for the trades who work here. From this week it has a Manchester address to match.

The address

Post and official correspondence for EstiMate now go to the Piccadilly Business Centre, a few minutes from Manchester Piccadilly station. Mark anything you send for our attention so it reaches the right desk:

That is the address you will find in the footer of every page on this site, on the about page and on the enquiry page. It is also the address in our public company record, so if you need it for a supplier form, an invoice or a contract, it is the one to use.

Why Manchester

Most of the builders, joiners, electricians and plumbers using EstiMate are in the North West, and most of the tenders and planning applications TenderPilot surfaces for them are posted by councils, housing associations and NHS trusts across Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Being based in the city the work comes from is not a branding exercise. It is where the founder still prices and runs jobs, and where the product gets its reality checks.

It also puts EstiMate next to the people we want to work with: the regional contractors who need job costing that matches their accountant, the small firms who want a quote the client can accept and pay online, and the sole traders who just want the invoicing and CIS done properly.

What is not changing

• Support is still email first. Write to support@esti-mate.app and a person who knows the app replies. That is faster than post and it is how we keep the free plan free.
• Sales, partnerships and press go to hello@esti-mate.app.
• Pricing is unchanged. The free plan still covers your first three jobs a month, and membership still starts at £15.99.
• The product is still built and supported from the North West by the same small team.
